In addition, it’s a medically based program covering primary care, secondary care and treatments following national consensus guidelines.

    The program is designed for divers and non divers, and also meets the CPR and first aid prerequisite for earning your PADI Advanced Plus rating and Padi rescue Diver.

    So if you’re seeking CPR/first aid training to meet a diving program requirement or for personal enhancement, this program is for you.

Emergency First Response is a basic training course in emergency care. Students learn the same priorities of care and approach to a patient as professional medics do. This approach results in a continuity of care as the patient is passed on to paramedic, nurse and doctor.

Emphasis in the MEDIC FIRST AID training program is on the development of the primary and secondary essential skills of patient care.

Primary Assessment, Rescue breathing, One rescuer CPR, Choking management, Control MFA Card of Bleeding, Shock management, Continuing circle of care, Illness and injury assessment. These skills are taught in the order in which you as a rescuer would use them in an actual situation resulting in developing confidence to use your First Aid skills in an actual emergency.
