Under SailGo sailing with us into beautiful Pang Nga Bay and/or The Andaman Sea for a day or a week. Sailing is the quiet way to see the coastline and islands of Thailand.

SailingYou will have all of the comforts of a motor yacht and the thrill of breezing across the seas with only the sound of the wind filling the sails. We offer bareboats from 32’ to 44’ from our base on Phuket Island, which gives the sailor the chance to experience one of the most spectacular cruising grounds in the world.  The cost of the charters vary according to boat size and season.

SailingFind peace and tranquility whilst sailing amongst the dramatic scenery and beautiful beaches of the Andaman Sea. Asian Adventures is proud to provide you with the best in sailing adventures through our affiliation with Sunsail, the worldwide sailing holiday provider. Take your pick between diving flotilla, bareboat or skippered charters. Whichever you choose it will be an adventure to remember. Bareboat sailing gives you the opportunity to cruise where wind or whim takes you, at your own pace and in your own time within the designated cruising area.

Sailing Notes:
From November till April the weather is constantly sunny and dry with enough wind for ideal sailing. In May till October the winds pick up though sailing is still sheltered in most of the cruising area.

Experience Level: To charter your own bareboat you’ll need a RYA Dayskipper qualification or equivalent experience. Alternatively just relax and hire your own skipper who can also provide you with tuition.

Charter Options: Bareboat, diving flotilla, provisioning, skipper, cook, windsurfer, cruising chute, GPS.

Sailing Locations

Phang Nga Bay: is situated north of the boat base in Phuket and offers a protected cruising area with stunning limestone sculptures rising from the emerald waters. The sailing is safe and easy so there is plenty of time to visit local attractions including James Bond Island and Pan Yi the local gypsy village.

Krabi and the Koh Dam Group: have some of the most awe inspiring scenery in Thailand which you can visit during most of the year. The snorkeling is exceptional with stunning coral reefs to explore not to mention the many idyllic palm fringed beaches.

Koh Phi Phi: The larger of the two neighboring islands Phi Phi Don boasts plenty of good restaurants and a variety of shops that are ideal for provisioning and souvenir shopping. At Phi Phi Lee you can visit Maya Bay, a scenic, sandy lagoon recently used as a main location for the filming of 20th Century Fox’s new feature film "The Beach" in which Asian Adventures were contracted to supply all safety divers and safety boats for the duration of the production.
